Do you want to please God? Yes, you do! Do you pray for faith? No. Some think they have to pray to God for faith. You receive faith “by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” (Rom. 10:17) YOU hear the Word. YOU meditate the Word. YOU speak the Word.
You approach God through faith. Pleasing God is one of the key ingredients of understanding how to receive and He will reward you for diligently seeking him. You please God by your faith in HIM. If we try to approach God without faith, it is impossible to please Him. “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Heb.11:6)
