Your Seed is never forgotten
“While the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Gen. 8:20-22)
The principle of seedtime and harvest is a biblical law established by God that reflects the natural and spiritual process of sowing and reaping. This principle is foundational in both the physical and spiritual realms, demonstrating that what one sows—whether in deeds, words, or faith—will ultimately produce a harvest.
In the beginning, God established the principle of seedtime and harvest. God gave specific instructions about the seed and that it would produce after its kind. For instance, if you plant grass seed, you will get grass; if you plant apple seed, your harvest is apples; and corn seed, you will get corn, etc. The seeds within carry the ability to yield their kind.
The Parable of the Sower is significant because it illustrates how seedtime & harvest works. The Bible emphasizes that understanding this parable will provide an opportunity for believers to understand the rest of Jesus’ parables. “And he [Jesus] said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?” (Mark 4:13)
When planting the seed into good ground for corn to harvest in the fall, a phenomenal biblical law of seedtime begins. In the heartland, the soil is rich in nutrients, helping with the seed’s germination. Weather plays an essential part in the corn’s performance. The four stages of growth are planting, germination, vegetative, and reproductive. The seed takes root; the plant develops into a stalk of corn, which grows into multiple ears of corn, each of which produces many new seeds.

Plant your seed with faith and exercise patience. Speak the WORD over YOUR seed. Remember, YOUR seed is never forgotten. The principle of seedtime and harvest operates in various aspects of life, including spiritual growth, finances and giving, relationships and kindness, evangelism, etc. The HARVEST is coming!
Plant your seed today for tomorrow’s harvest.
